Butler bay beach is the most famous beach in Little Andaman. The beach is unique because of its shape where you can see the entire bay from any point. The entire place is covered with coconut trees and dense tropical forests. This is also a choice for surfers and attract a lot of European surfers.

The beach is located on the road side approximately 12 Kms from the main Hut Bay market and jetty. The beach used to be extremely popular with locals and tourists before Tsunami hit the island in the 2004. Now the beach is again gaining popularity but absence of basic amenities and lack of proper maintenance is a concern for visiting tourists.
How to reach ?
There are government ferries that take guests from Port Blair to Little Andaman. You need to hire a cab or rent a bike to reach Butler bay from Hut Bay jetty. Regular government bus services are also available from Hut Bay.
